Parts Technician Team Leader

Up to £35,000 DOE
Our client has been established for over 30 years and you will work alongside industry leading brands and top-class customers across a range of construction sectors. Due to growth, they are now seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Parts Technician Team Leader to join their team at Head Office in Leicester.
The environment is fast-paced, and you will be expected to handle multiple tasks while demonstrating strong organisational skills. As a team leader, you will be responsible for managing a small team and providing high-quality customer service to customers and suppliers through phone and face-to-face interactions. Additional responsibilities include stock checks, order processing, and supporting the overall roles of the Parts Technicians.
Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will have the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a team. You will need to have an understanding of customer needs, excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), an eye for detail and a willingness to learn and develop.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Line managing a team of 5
- Catering to customer needs
- Dealing with customers both over the phone and in person
- Processing customer orders
- Carrying out accurate stock checks
- Working with and supporting the technicians
- Developing product knowledge and business understanding
Essential skills and experience for this role include:
- Previous experience in a parts department
- Previous line management or supervisor experience
- Proven customer service skills
- The ability to work well under pressure with a positive attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detai
- Proficiency in Microsoft Officey.
This is a full time permanent position offering a salary of up to £35k.
