Fabric Recruitment are pleased to be working with a growing business within the construction industry; due to their recent increase in business they are now seeking a passionate Customer Service professional industry to join the team.
Description of the role:
- Effectively following up on customer projects, activities, and opportunities, converting these to sales
- Generate new business using own initiative
- Proactively plan and prioritise daily sales and customer service activities, ensuring that all orders are received on time, as specified and to agreed deadlines
- Meet customer needs and provide information through regular telephone, email, video call and occasional face-to-face communications
- Effectively communicate active promotions, promotional material, and new products available to all accounts
- Proactively identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within customer portfolio
- Maintain strong, professional working relationships with customers by working in close partnership with external sales counterparts, the customer service team, and other departments
- Respond to customer enquiries and requests for pricing, stock availability and delivery information / updates
- Process orders, quotes, invoices, and other requests using dedicated software (Sage 200 and Sage CRM)
- Effectively manage current customer accounts
- Help establish and set up new customer accounts
- Handle and resolve any customer issues
About you:
- Experience within a similar position
- Enthusiastic about delivering exceptional customer service
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask
