This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful business to help drive the category management strategy to the next level.

You will manage a supplier portfolio and be responsible for driving turnover and developing positive relationships.

Description of the role:

• Manage and grow supplier categories in alignment with broader strategic goals.
• Partner with internal teams to drive category performance and support strategic initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers through regular meetings.
• Organise, coordinate, and facilitate regular committee meetings.
• Represent the organisation at industry events.
• Work collaboratively with senior leaders and department heads.
• Produce clear and accurate management reports.

About you:

• A proven track record of driving growth and opportunities.
• A background in supplier-facing roles within trade-focused industries such as merchants/materials.
• CIPS qualification or qualified by experience.
• Existing strong relationships within the industry.
• Proven commercial and digital trading experience.
• Excellent Microsoft Office experience, specifically Excel.
• A solutions-focused approach with a commitment to achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.
