Introduction to the Company

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful business based in Loughborough.

You will be responsible for managing supplier relationships and ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and components.

Description of the role:

• Developing and maintaining an approved supplier list.
• Managing relationships and communication with suppliers and vendors.
• Purchasing raw materials and components.
• Negotiating pricing, terms and schedules with suppliers.
• Evaluating and on-boarding vendors, reporting on performance.
• Placing and managing orders.
• Participating in progress and status review meetings.

About you:

• Experience of working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Advanced negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Italian language skills would be a distinct advantage.
• A strong problem solver with a methodical approach.
• Full driving licence.
