Description of the role:
- Assist in identifying potential suppliers and obtaining competitive quotations.
- Analyse pricing and negotiate favourable terms and conditions with vendors.
- Process purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation of procurement activities.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment orders as needed.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide support and guidance.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining positive vendor relationships.
About you:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management is a plus but not required.
